I’m redefining Skincare. The skincare industry is full of crap but Your Favorite Skincare is not. Y|F|S is skincare with a purpose. There are 6 different lines to Y|F|S: Calming Lavender & Oats, Cleansing Eucalyptus & French Clay, Detoxifying Tea Tree & Charcoal, Nourishing Sandalwood & Dead Sea Clay, Rejuvenating Rose & Rose Clay, & Men’s Leather & Tobacco containing a blend of essential oils to create a one of a kind fragrance. Each line is made up of face & body soap, mask, & scrub except the men’s line which is made up of soap, Italian-style shave soap, aftershave, and beard oil. Each product line’s ingredients serve a purpose thus making it easy for you, the consumer, to choose the right one for your skin type.

In 2012, I stumbled upon an article discussing the harmful effects of chemicals used in the skincare industry on health, fertility, and aging. I decided to search for products that were free of synthetic colors, fragrances, and preservatives at local stores, only to realize that many products marketed as natural were not truly natural. During this time, my husband was frequently away with the military, leaving me with ample free time. I was in search of a creative outlet or hobby that would serve a meaningful purpose. So, after much research on holistic natural cures, chemistries and ingredients I began growing flowers and herbs to infuse oils with nature’s sunlight and heat. I aimed to create products that would benefit not only my own sensitive, eczema-prone skin, but also my friends and family by saving them from the toxins sold in stores.

As I gifted my homemade creations to those around me, people took notice and soon began requesting to purchase more. I still wanted to do more with my passion, so I launched the “Nourish Your Skin, Nourish Your Neighbor” campaign, donating a portion of proceeds from every $50 spent to the local Food Pantry. This campaign ultimately led to the birth of Your Favorite Skincare, where I create all products in small batches, made-to-order to ensure quality and freshness.
